59 Inventory Technician
Sonic Connectors has an immediate opening for an Inventory Tech located in Midland, Texas. An inventory tech is responsible for delivering and monitoring the company's inventory and ensuring that it is sufficient to meet business needs. The job involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with other teams, and delivering to different sites for inventory management. The inventory tech collaborates with various departments, such as manufacturing, purchasing, operations, inside sales, and accounting, to manage costs and ensure the timely delivery of goods. The tech also identifies and resolves inventory-related issues, such as overstocking or stockouts, to maintain optimal inventory levels. Effective communication with Leadership within the organization is also a critical aspect of the inventory tech's job. Overall, the inventory tech plays a crucial role in ensuring that a company's inventory is well-managed, cost-effective, and supports the company's objectives.
The roles and responsibilities of an inventory tech typically include:
· Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that they are adequate for business needs.
· Coordinating with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
· Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and reconcile inventory levels.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
• Proven ability to be a strategic and creative problem solver.
• Process, product, and a builder mindset.
• Experience in manufacturing, wellhead, artificial lift systems, and/or spooling is preferred.
