Sonic Connectors has immediate openings Service Tech Apprentice located in Midland, Texas. A Service Tec Apprentice is responsible for assisting and supporting Service Technicians with installation of electrical connectors for ESP wells. Assist in performing installation and pulling of associated equipment. Assist in basic repair of surface equipment and witness tests ESP cable. Assist in ensuring all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use and functions fit prior to beginning each job. Responsibilities • Basic Field Safety

• Assist in gathering tools and supplies to be used at worksite appropriate for job to be performed

• Assist in loading and unloading equipment

• Basic Field ESP Splice Training

• Other assigned duties

Requirements • High school diploma preferred.

• Experience working in an Oil and Gas Industry preferred.

• Experience working outside in the elements preferred.

Qualifications Mechanical aptitude

Related experience in the field of Wellhead installation, servicing and maintenance

Ability to lift 75 lbs with no restrictions

Previous experience helpful, but not required

Pay rate based is on experience
